Quantization Evaluation on the CSA Patients' Therapeutic Efficacy of Dermal Scraping and Venesection Interventions by TCD Examination While Rotating Cervical Part
摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the improving effect of neck scraping and venesection on vertebroarterial blood supply in patients with vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis (CSA). Methods; Based on CSA diagnostic criteria, 60 patients were chosen and divided into control group and experiment group. Vertebroarterial blood flow velocity was measured to use transcranial Doppler (TCD) while rotating cervical part in Shanghai area during March and September. Changes in the velocity were assessed after an interval of one week in the control group and after one week of dermal scraping and venesection interventions (3 times) in the experiment group. Results; Vertebroarterial systolic peak flow velocity (Vp) and end-diastolic flow velocity (Vd) had no changes in the control group who, during the past week, experienced climatic changes from high to low temperature carelessly or . lived in an air conditioned room for a long time in the hot season. Because of the interventions, vertebroarterial Vp and Vd increased obviously (P<0. 01) in the experiment group under the same condition. Conclusion; An abrupt change in the weather makes people subject to cold-dampness invasion, thereby causing vertebral artery insufficiency in CSA patients. Neck scraping and venesection interventions can effectively counteract the adverse effects of climatic and seasonal factors and increase vertebroarterial blood supply to prevent and treat with vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis.关键词
