Expression and clinical significance of TOP2α in renal cell carcinoma
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of DMA topoisomerase 2 alpha (Top2ct) mRNA and protein in renal cell carcinoma,and explore its significance. Methods Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expression of Top2α mRNA in 36 cases of renal cell carcinoma and normal adjacent tissues. Immu-nohistochemical SP method was used to detect Top2α protein in 40 renal cell carcinoma a 19 normal adjacent tissues. Results Expression of Top2ot can be detected in both tissues. But the expression rate of Top2α in renal cell carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal tissues (P < 0.05). The expression of Top2α in renal cell carcinoma and T stage was positively correlated(P<0.05). However, it showed no significant difference between age, gender, lymph node metastasis, metastasis, recurrence(P>0.05). Conclusion The expression of Top2α mRNA and protein increase in renal cancer than in normal adjacent tissues, and that was positively correlated with primary tumor invasion. The over-expression of Top2α may contribute to the progression of renal cell carcinoma.关键词
