Abstract
Objective To investigate the pathology and expression of glutathione S-Transferase(GST)-π, P-glycopro-tein ( P-gp) , Topoisomerase ( Topo II ) in signet-ring cell carcinoma of the stomach, and to further improve the level of diagnosis and treatment. Methods The clinic and histological feature of 32 signet-ring carcinoma of stomach (21 of the 32 specimens are gained by gastroscopy, the others are obtained by partial resection of stomach) and the expression of GST-π, P-gp, Topo Ⅱ were analyzed. Results Under the microscope, the number of classic type of signet-ring cell was the most one, which grew diffusely. Compared with the 32 cases of high-medium differentiated adenocarcinoma at the same period, detection of related genes showed that there was no significant difference between positive rate of GST-π, while the positive rate of P-gp significantly increased, the positive rate of TopoⅡ significantly reduced ( both P <0.05 ). Conclusions The number of classic type of signet-ring cell is the most one in signet-ring carcinoma of stomach, which grow diffusely.The detection of GST- π , P-gp,Topo Ⅱ expression contributes to the treatment of gastric signet ring cell carcinoma.关键词
