Identification and evaluation of a stress-resistant candidate gene OsHMGB3 in rice
摘要
Abstract
OsHMGBS is located in a drought-resistant QTL segment of rice,putatively coding a domain protein with HMGB-UBF-HMG-box structure. The real-time PCR analysis showed that the expression of OsHMGB3 occurred in several plant organs and could be induced by PEG,NaCl,cold,heat and ABA. The mannitol stress treatment at seedling stage indicated that the O.s//MGB3-overexpression transgenic plants' plant height and fresh weight were very significantly superior to the wild-type plants'.Both the response of the gene to adverse environment and the resistance of the transgenic plants to osmotic stress implied that the gene is closely related to adverse resistance of rice.关键词
