Abstract
The printing and dyeing patterns of traditional blue calico provide inexhaustible resources for the pattern design of silk scarf. Based on the practice of design, this thesis draws materials of patterns from "little swallows in the early spring" and "phoenixes play with tree peonies" of blue calico. It analyzes the methods used in pattern design of silk scarf step by step. By selecting and refining the patterns of blue calico and combining with fashionable elements, it refines the patterns of blue calico and other unique patterns to design the patterns of silk scarf. Besides, it adopts other methods to analyze the four schemes that are used to redesign the refined patterns of blue calico. In this way, it aims at explaining how to use a series of design methods integrating tradition and innovation to apply the patterns of blue calico to the pattern design of silk scarf.关键词
