摘要

Abstract

In order to highlight the importance of slopes which surrounds the engineering slope and improve their defensive, a new concept of surrounding slope is proposed based on the review of slope concepts and insights for hydropewer engineering. The surrounding slope is a part of natural slope and its range is decided by hydropower structures and its importance, the unstable geological body's scale and its stability and the unstable geological body's potential energy and its risk in surrounding slope. The range is usually restricted by the cut line of engineering slope and the first ridge line. In the geological analysis of surrounding slope, the stability of local, individual and high-suspended unstable block should be paid more attention.
