Abstract
Some operation accidents of hydraulic gates in hydropower stations have been occurred because of poor management, operational errors, not timely eliminating major deficiencies and unreliable gate opening and closing power. These accidents not only affect the power generation, and some even cause harms to the dam and the life and property in downstream areas. In order to prevent the operation accident of hydraulic gate, some countermeasures should be taken, including standardizing gate operation, eliminating human operational errors, promptly eliminating significant risks and setting emergency backup power through diesel generator, and if using remote control, the dam site guardian system must be strictly enforced.关键词
