磷酸三聚氰胺聚丙烯酸盐膨胀型阻燃剂的制备及性能研究
Study on Performance of Melamine Phosphate Polyacrylate Intumescent Flame Retardant and Its Preparation

Abstract
A new intumescent flame retardant(IFR)-melamine phosphate polyacrylate(MPPAA) was prepared from melamine(MEL), phosphoric acid(PA)and polyacrylic acid(PAA). The structure and composition of the product was characterized by FTIR and SEM-EDAX. The flame-retardant epoxy resin samples(EP/MPPAA) were prepared and tested by oxygen index(OI) method, vertical burning test(VBT) and tension test(TT) to evaluate the flame retarding performance and mechanical property of EP/MPPAA. The results show that: the yield of MPPAA is about 77.7%, with N element content 39.37% in MPPAA as the mole ratio of -COOH to -NH2 is 2:1. The Ol of EP/MPPAA(20%MPPAA) is about 30%, and then the EP/MPPAA(20%MPPAA) flame retardant coating can reach to UL94 V-0 grade. The samples also exhibit good tensile property and toughness, due to the formation of the interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) structure.关键词
