Abstract
Tongzhou New Town is one of 11 new urban areas planned in Beijing, and it is the key node in the eastern development zone of the city. As the sewage pipeline networks are not completed yet and a part of untreated sewage is directly discharged into rivers directly, the water environment therein is heavily polluted; which becomes an important barrage to obstruct the local health economic development and the enhancement of the people' s living standard. In accordance with the general urban planning concerned, a completed drainage system must be formed in the new town, i. e. diverting the sewage into recycled water plant for treatment and re-use through the layout of sewage pipeline system and the construction of recycled water plant- The planning and implementation of the sewage treatment for Tongzhou New Town is introduced herein, and then the more advanced MBB treatment technology of Hedong Water Recycling Plant under construction is described as welL关键词
