Optimization of modification technology for new gas hardened animal glue core binder

Abstract
In order to solve such problems as the agglomeration at normal temperature as well as the large energy consumption and low efficiency in thermo-hardening process for animal glue, a new core binder was obtained with taking the animal bone glue as main raw material and through both alkaline decomposition and modification treatment. In addition, the binder was hardened through blowing CO2 gas. The alkaline decomposition technology for the animal bone glue was selected and optimized. In addition, the active groups were introduced to perform the grafting copolymerization and esterification modification for the animal glue and thus to improve further the bonding strength. Meanwhile, the blowing hardening and modification mechanisms for new animal glue binder were analyzed. The results indicate that the optimal constituent ratio in the modified animal glue casting binder is 9 (glycerin): 10 (dextrin) :9 (alcohol): 100 ( animal glue). The modification temperature is 75℃ and the modification time is 90 rain. For the modified animal glue binder hardened through blowing CO2 gas, the original strength is above 0. 8 MPa, and the final strength reaches 6. 0 MPa, which can meet the production requirement in rapid core manufacture.关键词
