摘要

Abstract

MgO/AC catalysts were prepared by an impregnation method and were characterized by means of XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, XPS and CO2-TPD. The activities of the catalysts in the hydrogen transfer reaction of p-isobutylacetophenone with isopropanol as the hydrogen donor were investigated, and were compared to that of MgO catalyst. The results showed that loading MgO on AC led to the increase of basic sites on the catalysts due to the high dispersion of MgO on the surface of AC support, and that the concentration of /Msobutylacetophenone near the active sites increased because of the possible it electron interaction, which could improve the catalytic activity of MgO/AC compared with MgO. Under the appropriate reaction conditions of 10.0%MgO/AC catalyst(based on /Msobutylacetophenone) 0.15 g/mmol, 82 ℃., n(isopropanol) : n(/Msobutylacetophenone) 10 : 1 and 4 h, the conversion of/Msobutylacetophenone could reach more than 80%.
