摘要

Abstract

The mechanisms for the coking and carburization of ethylene cracking furnace and transfer line exchanger are reviewed. The progresses in inhibiting coking for ethylene cracking furnaces and transfer line exchangers in recent years and anti-coking methods being used or studied in this field are summarized. The methods of improving the furnace tube materials, using inhibitors, employing heat transfer enhancement tubes and developing novel transfer line exchangers are introduced mainly. The directions of the research and development in anti-coking technologies in future are proposed.
