Abstract
The ＂reading comprehension＂ in the process of English learning is studied from the aspects of learner and teacher. It tries to analyze why Chinese college students with good knowledge of grammar can＇t get good marks. Some reasonable strategies of improving students＇ reading ability are pointed out： cultivating the habit of reading with a purpose; training the ability of forecasting and associating the below content; reading a lot; and establishing the purpose of reading.关键词
