基于曲光线跟踪算法的超声成像实时模拟研究
A beam width aware curvilinear ray tracing method for real-time ultrasound simulation

Abstract
A novel curvilinear ray tracing model was proposed to simulate the sound beam from an ultrasound transducer. To test the model's efficiency, the scanning frequency and focal length were interactively adjusted to obtain higher lateral resolution in region of interest. This method was also employed to generate reflection image in combination with a simplified acoustic model. We further generated a speckled pattern by employing a probability distribution function, where speckles were rendered using the Gaussian envelope point spread function (PSF). Results show that the proposed method can generate ultrasound images at a rate above 20 frames per second by accelerating the PSF rendering process using a graphics processing unit. The simulation results, which have been compared with those of Field Ⅱ and real ultrasound images, demonstrate the feasibility of this method.关键词
