Abstract

To acquire the vibration characteristics of the track with longitudinal sleeper, supply reference for track structure parameters optimization, a longitudinal sleeper track model is established by using the FEM method. The vertical natural frequency and vibration mode of the longitudinal sleeper track system are studied, in which different damping material stiffness are selected. By applying the harmonic and random loads on the model respectively, the vibration transfer rules of longitudinal sleeper track structure are investigated. Results show that, the larger the damping material stiffness is, the bigger the structural natural frequency will be. The dominant frequencies of the structural dynamic response are consistent with the structural natural frequencies under both loading conditions. And the amplitude of harmonic response is greatly influenced by the damp of damping materials. Taking the damping-material stiffness as 20MN/m, through one-third octave frequency spectrum analysis, it is found that the acceleration level of bridge deck is lower than that of sleepers by 40 dB for the frequencies above 31.5 Hz. Therefore, the damping materials are very effective for the vibration reduction of longitudinal sleeper track system.
