Numerical Method of Ultimate Capacity of Doubler Plate Reinforced Tubular T-joints
摘要
Abstract
Finite element method is adopted in the numerical parametric studies to evaluate the ultimate capacity of doubler (plate reinforced tubular T-joints under tensile loading or compress loading. Based on the design formula of un-reinforced tubular T-joints in the code for design of steel structure, parameter Φ has been used to evaluate the ultimate bearing capacity of reinforced T-joints. Based on the analysis result, the following conclusions can be obtained: under tensile loading, the main effective parameter is doubler plate thickness ratios under compression loading, the main parameters are chord to brace thickness ratio.关键词
