Intrinsic kinetics of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis over Co/AC catalyst

Abstract
The intrinsic kinetics of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis over Co/AC catalyst was studied in an isothermal integral fixed bed reactor under the following operation conditions: temperature of 220cC-250℃, pressure of 2.0MPa-4.0 MPa, H3/CO molar ratio of 1.0-2.5 and space velocity of 2000h-1-3500h-1. With combination of carbide mechanism and CO insertion mechanism, several intrinsic kinetic expressions were derived by assuming different elementary reactions and rate-determining reactions. Mallbab software and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm were used in the parameter estimation procedure. The statistical analysis and relative residual analysis were applied to check out the applicability of intrinsic kinetic models. The results indicated that the intrinsic kinetic expression FT-4 was reasonable for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis over Co/AC catalyst.关键词
