摘要

Abstract

As important alternative energy resources, the exploration and development of shale gas and CMB will play a decisive role on future global energy situation. The two gases have differences and common features in accumulation conditions and mechanisms. The common features are they all involve primary biogenesis, secondary biogenesis, thermogene and hybrid origin; they both occur in low porosity and low permeability pores and cracks. However, shale gas reservoirs do not need cap rock, while CMB reservoirs need not only good cap rock but good coal floor sealing property as well; as for accumulation mechanisms, CMB accumulates by adsorption , while shale gas accumulates by both adsorption and piston type mechanism.
