摘要

Abstract

This paper presents the calculation method of the critical water depth ,Froude number and hydraulic jump of U-shaped channel. An iterative calculation formula for the critical water depth is proposed, an explicit formula of Froude number is given as well. And at the same time, the equation about the hydraulic jump of U-shaped channel is deduced. The comparative analysis is made of the measured data cited in reference(7) ,whereby testifying the equation reliability.
