摘要
Abstract
The synthesis of 2-phenylbenzimidazole was carried out under microwave irradiation with potassium iodide as catalyst, anhydrous sodium sulfate as water absorber,o-phenylenediamine and benzaldehyde as starting materials. The influences on the yield of the product of the mole ratio of the materials,output power of microwave generator,reaction time were investigated. Optimal reaction condition were obtained: the ratio of o-phenylendiamine to benzaldehyde: 1 : 2 (mole) .output power: 300 W, intermit radiation time; 10 minutes,The total yield was as high as 97% under the optimal conditions. Compared to the previous methods,the new method has the advantages of simplified procedure,mild conditions,easy purification process,and high yield.关键词
