Abstract
To solve the problems of rough edge or distortion at filter-end of cigarette made by PROTOS cigarette maker, the final cutting device was improved by referring to Goryachkin's constant theorem, the rotational speed of the cutting knife was raised to reduce the cutting force on filter; the sharpener was also modified to give the knife dege a better finish by which to get a cleaner filter cut. The results of application showed that: the maker ran stably, the rotational speed of knife raised from 1731 to 3267 r/min,the ratio of cigarettes with defective cut decreased from 7%-9% to less than 0.8%,and the cut appearance was improve关键词
