Comparative Study of Elegance between China and Japan from the Perspective of Aesthetic Culture
摘要
Abstract
As the centre of the East Asian cultural circle, the Chinese culture deeply affect the adjacent countries. Japanese literature is produced and developed in the process of studying Chinese literature. Chinese and Japanese have the concept of ＂elegance＂ but Japanese did not fully accept the concept of ＂elegance＂ that originated from China. Combining its national aesthetic consciousness, Japanese formed its own conception of elegance with national characteristics. Chinese concept of elegance focuses on playing social and political role. The difference reflects the differences of the aesthetic consciousness between China and Japan. The paper explores the causes for differences of aesthetic culture between China and Japan so as to deepen comparative study of Chinese and Japanese aesthetic culture.关键词
