摘要
Abstract
In order to improve and enhance the fine-wool sheep's meat performance,the crossbreeding of Charolais and White Suffolk rams with the Chinese Merino sheep(Xinjiang type)were carried on,and the birth weight ,3-month-old's body weight , 6-month-old' s body weight, after-shearing body weight, shearing quantity and wool fineness of their hybrid F, ewes were compared. The results showed that the differences of the two groups's birth weight,3-month-old's body weight and after-shearing body weight were not significant (P>0.05);the 6-month-old ' s body weight of the Charolais xChinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type)group was 4.5 % higher than that of the White Suffolk x Chinese Merino( Xinjiang type )group (P<0.05);the differences of wool length, wool fiber diameter between the two groups were not significant (P>0.05) , and the amount of shear wool of Charo-laisxChinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type )group was higher by 9.8 % than that of White Suffolk xChinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type)group (P<0.01).Therefore,it was concluded that,in the Ili region compared with the White Suffolk xChinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type Combination, the Charolais xChinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type )eombination was more suitable for fat lambs production,and on the wool performance aspect, the CharolaisxChinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type) combi-nation also had more advantages.
