Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy of open reduction and crossed Kirschner-wire (K-wire) fixation in supracon-dylar humerus fractures. Methods: A total of 42 patients with supracondylar humerus fractures were treated by open reduction and crossed k-wire fixation. Results: The 42 cases in this study were followed up from 5 to 36 months,the average follow-up time was 12. 16 ± 5. 31 months. Functional outcome was assessed with the use of mazur scoring system. The results were excellent in 28 patients,good in 11,fair in 2,and poor in 1. Among the 42 patients,92. 9% were rated as excellent or good. Conclusions; Treatment of supracondylar humerus fractures with crossed K-wire fixation can achieve good results.关键词
