Abstract
Objective:To study the diagnostic value of carbohydrate antigen 153(CA153),serum ferritin(SF) and tissue poly-peptide specific antigen(TPS) in breast cancer. Methods: The serum levels of CA153,SF and TPS were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 38 patients with breast cancer,28 patients with benign breast tumor and 20 healthy women. Results: The serum levels of the 3 tumor markers in breast cancer group were significantly higher than those in the other two groups(P<0. 01). The levels of SF and TPS increased with the increase of clinical stage. The sensitivities of CA153,SF and TPS in the diagnosis of breast cancer were 52. 6%,60. 5% and 65. 8% respectively. The sensitivity of the 3 tumor markers in combination was 86. 8% in breast cancer diagnosis. Conclusions: CA153,SF and TPS have diagnostic value in breast cancer. The combination of the 3 markers can significantly improve the accuracy of breast cancer diagnosis.关键词
