The Impact of Sulfasalazine combined with Lizhuchangle on β Defensin-2 Expression in Colonic Tissue of Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the impact of sulfasalazine combined with lizhuchangle on p defensin-2 expression in colonic tissue of ulcerative colitis. Methods: 116 cases of ulcerative colitis patients in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups: 56 cases of sulfasalazine group and 60 cases of sulfasalazine combined with lizhuchangle group. Results: After treatment, compared with sulfasalazine, the cases of focal hemorrhage in sulfasalazine combined with lizhuchangle were reduced significantly (P <0.05). Compared with the sulfasalazine, β defensin-2 expression was significantly reduced in sulfasalazine combined with lizhuchangle after treatment (P <0.05). Conclusion: Sulfasalazine combined with lizhuchangle can significantly reduce p defensin-2 exprssion in colon tissue and treat ulcerative colitis.关键词
