摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the merits and demerits of two catheter applied in lumber continued drainage of cerebrospinal fluid(LCDCF). Methods Eighty cases of traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (TSAH) were randomly divided into two treatment groups assigned with epidural catheter and medtronic EDM system respectively. Complication and Efficacy were compared in these two groups. Results Complication rate and the average hospital stay in epidural catheter group were higher than EDM group and showed significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05), while excessive drainage syndrome and long-term efficacy showed no statistical difference between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Medtronic EDM system applied in LCDCF can reduce complication rate to improve medical quality, shorten the average hospital stay to make full use of the medical resources, and be easily fixed and to control flow velocity and quantity. Therefore medtronic EDM system is fit for lumber continued drainage of cerebrospinal fluid.关键词
