Abstract
[Objectives] To observe the morphosis under endoscopy histopathology, features of clinical symptoms and the intervention of Chinese herbs in colonic polyps. To discuss the correlative factors of the postpolypectomy recurrence. [Methods] To retrospectively analyze the data of 1198 patients via polypectomy under colonoscopy in Department of TCM and endoscopy department of General Hospital of Shenyang Military Area Command from Jan, 2003 to Dec, 2009. The patients were followed up for 0.5-7 years, 267 of whom have been recurred. The correlative factors of the pospolypectomy were analyzed according to the symptoms, site, growth pattern,pathological types of polyps and the intervention of Chinese herbs. [ Results ] 1. The postpolypectomy recurrence is influenced by the patients symptoms, site, growth pattern, pathological types of the polyps and the intervention of Chinese herbs (P < 0.05). 2. The patients gender, age and size of the polyps are statistically insignificant factors of postpolypectomy recurrence (P =0.167, P =0.434, P =0.258). [Conclusions] The patients suffering from diarrhea and hematochezia easily recur with following features: multiple, sessile polyps; those polyps sited in rectum and sigmoid; adenomatous or malignant easily recur. While the patients took Chinese herbs are uneasily to recur.关键词
