摘要

Abstract

Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a novel method of nucleic acid amplification developed in the last 10 years, with the advantages such as simplicity, rapidity, high sensitivity and high specificity. It is always applied in the detection of pathogenic microbe. This method employs a DNA polymerase with strand displacement activity and a set of 4 different primers specifically designed to recognize 6 distinct regions on the target DNA, with fewer steps and simpler equipment compared to PCR assays. This paper summarized the applications of LAMP method in the detection of pathogenic microbe.
