摘要

Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate the effect of addition of alfalfa saponins on rumen fermentation of growing goats in vitro culture. Four ruminally-fislulated Xuhuai goats were used in the experiment. Ruminal fluid was collected at 3 hours after morning feeding and fermented in vitro when the bacteria was isolated from it. The addition levels of alfalfa saponins were 0% (control group), 1%, 2% and 3% respectively. Each group has 3 replicates and anaerobic acculturated for 24 h. The results showed that adding 1%~3% alfalfa saponing could decreased the pH value, increase the concentration of TVFA and NH3-N compared with the control group, but did not affect the concentration of MCP.
