Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish a method for the content determination of allantoin in Dioscorea japonica, and to compare the content of allantoin in D. japonica and D. opposita. METHODS: HPLC was adopted. Kromasil Cm(250 nan×4.6 mm, 5 μm) column was used with methanol-water (2:98) as mobile phase at the flow rate of 0.8 rnL·min‐1. The detection wavelength was set at 224 nm, and the column temperature was at 30 ℃.RESULTS: The lin ear range of allantoin was 0.355~4.260 μg(r= 0.999 8) with average recovery of 98.77%(RSD= 1.49% ,n=6). The content of allantoin in D. japonica was higher than in D. opposita significantly. CONCLUSION: The method could be used for the content determination of allantoin in D. japonica.关键词
