二甲双胍联合缬沙坦治疗肥胖型高血压的疗效观察
Efficacy Observation of Metformin Combined with Valsartan in the Treatment of Obese Patients with Hypertension

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical efficacy of metformin combined with valsartan in the treatment of obese hypertensive patients. METHODS: 106 obese patients with mild to moderate hypertensive collected from our hospital during Aug. 2010 - Aug. 2011 were randomized into treatment group and control group. Treatment group received metformin and valsartan, while control group only received metformin. The changes of blood pressure (systolic/diastolic) (SBP/DBP), triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), fasting plasma glucose (FBG), glycated hemoglobin (HbAlC) and body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC) and other indicators were compared between two groups before medication and three months after medication as well as the antihypertensive effect. RESULTS: After 3 months of treatment, the antihypertensive effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In treatment group, all parameters were decreased after treatment, and the difference in the levels of TG, FBG, HbAlC and BMI had statistically significance {P< 0.05); the levels of HbAlC and BMI in control group after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05). After treatment, the difference of HbAlC and BMI between 2 groups had statistically significance (P<0.05). Other indicators had no statistical difference(P>0.05). No drug-related adverse reaction was found during the test. CONCLUSION: Metformin combined with valsartan in the treatment of obese patients with hypertension have good effect and safety.关键词
