Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To compare curative effect and economic between domestic and import sodium valproate in the treatment of schizophrenic attacks. METHODS: 40 cases of schizophrenic attacks divided into the domestic group and import group. The import group used import sodium valproate + risperidone, while the domestic group used domestic sodium valproate + risperi-done. The MOAS and BPRS were used to evaluate the efficacy after treatment and to cost-effectiveness analysis. RESULTS: The difference of total efficacy between the 2 groups was not significant (P>0.05), the domestic group was 65.00%, while the import group was 60.00%. Before and after treatment, BPRS factor scores between the 2 groups compared, there was no significant difference (P>0.05). Adverse reaction rates between the 2 groups, the difference was not significant (P>0.05).The cost-effectiveness ratio of domestic group was 2.61, while import group was 5.37(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: On the basis of risperidone, domestic sodium valproate in the treatment of schizophrenic attacks has good efficacy, safety and affordable.
