Application of Google Analytics in evaluating educational websites:A case study of Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology
摘要
Abstract
By taking the Moodle-based website Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology and using Google Analytics, this paper makes a multi-dimensional analysis of user group, contents and information flow of the website. It concludes that (1) Google Analytics can provide various types of website information flow data for quantitative evaluation of educational websites, but comprehensive evaluation from multiple dimensions is very necessary; (2) Among the rich data provided by Google Analytics, analysis of the website 's content is very valuable for course-centered educational websites.关键词
