Abstract
Objective To investigate the anesthetic effect of articaine in the treatment of dental pulp disease. Methods Two hundred forty - eight cases of patients with dental pulp disease who were treated in the department of stomatology of our hospital from december 2009 to december 2011 were divided into control group and observation group, the control group were given lidocaine, the observation group were given articaine, then we compared the anesthetic effect between two groups. Results The 5 min anesthesia efficiency and total efficiency of observation group was 90.32% and 95. 16%, respectively, and was obviouly higher than 76.61% and 81.45% of control group ( P <0. 05). Conclusion The anesthetic effect of articaine in the treatment of dental pulp disease has an advantage over lidocaine, it is worthy of clinical application.关键词
