Abstract
Objective: To identify feasibility of breast carcinoma screening age in countryside women with BI-RADS classification of mammography (MAM) and ultrasonography(US) combination. Methods: 954 local countryside women (range, 35~60 years) underwent breast screening with mammography (MAM) and ultrasonography (US). The results were classified according to the breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS). Result of BI-RADS classification came from the highest score of MAM plus US classification. BI-RADS class III was regarded as high risk of breast carcinoma and follow-up. Women with high risk of breast carcinoma were divided into three groups of 35~40, 41~50, 51 ~60 according their age. High risk incidence of breast carcinoma in three groups were calculated and compared. Results: Among 954 screened countryside women, 44 women were found to be in high risk of breast carcinoma according to BI-RADS (US+MAM combination) classification by methods and follow-up result accord with BI-RADS request. High risk incidence of breast carcinoma in three groups of 35~40, 41~50, 51 ~60 years old women were 8. 21%, 5. 32%,1. 70% respectively, with statistically significant differences ( P < 0. 05). Conclusion: BI-RADS classification of mammography(MAM) and ultrasonography(US) combination could accurately i-dentify countryside women screening age of breast carcinoma.关键词
