摘要
Abstract
In order to determine the rational mold thickness, collapsibility of the furan resin sand made from the silica sand between 100 and 500 ℃was researched and the lowest temperature of 350 ℃ at which the mold fully collapsed was found out. Then, the solidification process of cylindrical iron casting with different wall thickness and the temperature field of the mold and core was simulated by use of the ProCAST. And the relationship between the wall thickness (module) of the cylindrical iron casting and the critical mold thickness of the furan resin sand was investigated; at last, the regression equation between them was obtained.关键词
