Abstract
The bimetal composite casting interface of high chromium cast iron and carbon steel has great influence on the comprehensive performance. Optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) are used to observe the microstructure characteristics of the bimetal composite interface, and the Rockwell hardness tester, micro-hardness tester, nano Indenter Ⅱ are employed to analyze the hardness characteristics of the bimetal composite interface. The results show that the interface of the high chromium cast iron and the carbon steel has realized good metallurgical bonding, and a thin layer of martensite microstructure exits on the composite interface. The hardness variation zone on the composite interface of high chromium cast iron and carbon steel is small, and the hardness on the composite interface changes greatly. No micro-cracks observed on the composite interface, which indicates good interfacial bonding.关键词
