Abstract
Aiming at the actual instance of low bonding strength of thermal spray coating in the restoration of hydraulic props for mining machinery, new developed nickel-aluminum alloy wire was utilized to deposite Ni-Al coating on 27SiMn steel substrate by flame spraying. The microstnicture, morphology and bonding strength of the coating was compared with those of the coatings prepared with nickel coated aluminium powders and composite nickel-aluminium wire. The results show that the metallurgical bonding exists as the main bonging between the coating prepared with pre-alloyed nickel-aluminium and the substrate, and the bond strength is improved by 46.8% and 8%, respectively, compared with that of nickel coated aluminium powder and composite nickel-aluminium wire. The prepared coating is compact in constitution, with less porosity and impurity.关键词
