Abstract
Designing the appropriate chemical composition and a range of containing manganese content, the effect of manganese alloying in furnace front on structure and performance of high carbon grey cast iron was studied. The results show that the hardness of the cast iron decreases with the manganese content of 0.4%~O.6%, the hardness increases with the manganese content of 0.6%~ 1.0%, the hardness is the minimum with 0.6%Mn, the hardness is the maximum with 1.0%Mn. The tensile strength of the sample with 0.7%Mn is the minimum, with 0.8%Mn is the maximum. And the comprehensive mechanical property of the sample with 0.8% Mn is the best.关键词
