Isolation and Identification of Haemophilus paragallinarum
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] To isolate and identify a suspected case of infectious coryza in chickens. [Method] The bacteria were isolated from the upper respiratory tract excretions in the chickens, which had the clinical symptoms of swelling faces, tears and declining egg production. The bacteria were dyed and observed under microscopy, and then identified with satellitosis and PCR methods. [Result] A strain of Haemophilus paragallinanim was successfully isolated, and then identified to be C types. According to the animal regression test, the isolated strain may induce the strongly infectious coryza in chickens. [Conclusion] The study provides basis for the prevention and control of chicken infectious coryza.关键词
