丹栀逍遥散加减治疗肝气郁结型尿道综合征32例
Therapeutic Efficacy of Modified Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder in Treatment of Urethral Syndrome with Liver-qi Stagnation: An Analysis of 32 Cases

Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of modified Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder in the treatment of urethral syndrome with liver-qi stagnation. Methods Thirty-two cases of urethral syndrome with liver-qi stagnation received therapy with modified decoction of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder for four weeks. The therapeutic efficacies were assessed based on serum estradiol levels and scores on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) dominant syndromes. Results After four weeks of treatment, the patients showed significantly better scores on frequent micturition, urgency of urination, urodynia, aching pain of lower abdomen, and retropubic constriction as well as total scores (calculated by reverse scoring) and significantly increased serum estradiol levels (P<0. 01) , and the overall response rate was 93. 8% in terms of TCM syndromes. Conclusion Modified Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder, which is capable of dispersing stagnated liver qi, is effective and reliable in the treatment of urethral syndrome with liver-qi stagnation.关键词
