摘要

Abstract

Beam-lo-column end-plate connections with different detailed parameters are analyzed by using nonlinear FEM to research the influence of plate thickness, bolt diameter, bolt row spacing and the beam height to mechanical behavior of the connections. The results show that increasing the plate thickness, bolt diameter, height of beam section and reducing the bolt row spacing can improve the initial rotational stiffness and ultimate moment capacity of the connections, but reduce the rotation capacity. In this paper, the degree of influence on all combinations of factors at different levels to the initial rotational stiffness and the ultimate moment capacity are analyzed by using orthogonal experimental design method, and the optimal level combination of various factors are identified. The approximate empirical formula for the influencing factors to the initial rotational stiffness and ultimate moment capacity are obtained by using the method of regression analysis on orthogonal design.
