摘要

Abstract

From the perspective of sense experience, three stages in the developments of children's toys are concluded: stage one of the single sense experience, stage two of the deep sense interactive experience, and stage three of multiple sense interactive experience. Single sense experience in children's toy design focuses on individual sense demands, i.e. five sense experience as touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste experience, like Barbie doll based on visual experience. Deep sense experience toy design is based on the original sense experience plus multiple motivational developments in design, such as the QQ virtual pet. Multiple sense experience design focuses on children cognitive characteristics for develop- ment and design of multiple sense experiences.
