摘要

Abstract

The urban - rural education, as one of the basic education policies and one of the education devel- opment modes in our country, is significant in the revitalization of the western rural education and makes a profound impact on the western rural teachers' professional development. It can provide the necessary social conditions for the western rural teachers' professional development, help the western rural teachers to get fair opportunities for professional development, and inspire the belief and confidence from the western rural teachers in professional de- velopment. The co -ordinate urban and rural education plan is conducive to narrowing the gap between urban and rural education, continues to provide more and better educational resources for the western rural education, and takes the professional development of teachers in rural areas as its priority of implementation.
