摘要

Abstract

The surface of nano-SiO2 particles was modified with silane coupling agent 3-(methacryloyloxy) propyltrimethoxysilane(KH-570) under acidic conditions.Particle size analyzer,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),ultraviolet visible spectrometer,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) were adopted to characterize and analyze the unmodified and modified nano-SiO2 particles.The results indicate that silane coupling agent KH-570 successfully modifies the nano-SiO2 particles with its organic functional groups chemically bonded on the surface of nano-SiO2.As a result,the surface modification reduces the particles' aggregation and improves the dispersion in organic solvent.
