摘要

Abstract

Aiming at improving the poor side impact safety of a middle and low class vehicle the side impact simulation model of the vehicle is established. An improvement scheme is put forward to the body structure by optimizing the way of energy transfer and the match of stiffness and strength of structural components, for changing deformation mode of structure and mechanism of energy release in a reasonable way. The conclusion has indicated that the intrusion displacement of the door and B-pillar and the B-pillar' s intrusion velocity decrease significantly. The vehicle side impact safety is improved significantly.
