Abstract
Global Geoparks Network began to establish in 1996 in Zhoukoudian of Fangshan District,Beijing.Fangshan Global Geopark is across Fangshan district,Laishui county and Laiyuan county of Hebei province.Its area is 953.95km2,in 114°36ˊ48"~116°08ˊ16"E,39°09ˊ57"~39°43ˊ08"N.There is divided into 8 park areas: Zhoukoudian,Shihua Cave,Shidu,Baihuashan-Baicaopan,Shangfangshan-Yunjusi,Shenglianshan,Yesanpo and Baishishan.It is surrounded by the Yongding River,Dashi River and Juma River.The geopark is characteristic of karst landscapes.From the top down of the Dashi River valley,there are successively the Jimao Cave,Yinhu Cave,Shihua Cave and Kongshui Cave,connected into a system by an underground river.The strata of the Juma River valley is siliceous dolomites of the Mesoproterozoic Wumishan Formation and have formed the synthesized landform including Pliocene stone forest and Quaternary karst stone cliff.关键词
