The Mode Exploration for the Protection and Revival of the “Marginalized” Historic Towns：The Case of the Protection and Renewal of the Old Town of Wudi in Shandong Province
摘要
Abstract
The ＂marginalized＂ historic town mentioned in this article refers to the old district that has a long history where the old buildings have been seriously destroyed and few has remained. These towns have not been included in the protection system and urgently need protection and renovation. For having few historical legacies, these districts are considered as low value for protecting and are being wholly transformed, all of which are leading to the quick disappearance of the numerous similar historic towns. To save these disappearing historic towns, this article defines some related concepts and takes the protection and renewal of the old town of Wudi in Shandong Province as an example to give some inspirations for the renewal of similar districts, making them better protected and developed.关键词
