A stream cipher algorithm based on composite chaotic dynamical systems

Abstract
A new stream cipher algorithm is designed based on 2-D Logistic map and piecewise linear chaotic map, which uses the output of 2-D Logistic map as the piecewise parameter P of piecewise linear chaotic map. The encryption algorithm is constructed by piecewise linear chaotic map with P. The simulation experiments and security analyses are conducted for this algorithm, and the random properties and the sensitivity to initial value of stream generated by these two maps are studied. The analytical results of security indicate that this algorithm is effective in encryption, the key, plaintext and cipher text form complex and sensitive nonlinear relations, and the correlation between plaintext and cipher text is very small, which makes the algorithm effectively defend statistic analysis. The leaking of key and plaintext information from cipher text can also be effectively prevented.关键词
